Product Coordinator (Full-Time)

The Product Coordinator is a key role to primarily track and manage all distribution of the product, sales, returns and customer interest. The product coordinator keeps track of product related paperwork, electronic documents, files, meetings and plans, and is an essential part of the communication process with regards to product related knowledge to keep all relevant parties up to date. This role interacts with various internal departments as well as suppliers and customers, and general business acumen is a must. French is an asset, though not a requirement. You must have strong technical skills in Excel.

Key job functions:
• Daily interaction with cross-functional partners (Creative, Sales, Marketing) and communicate product details and changes accurately and timely to relevant parties
• Interact with customers to understand product requirements and send out product samples to customers
• Interact with suppliers to acquire production samples
• Analyze and coordinate product related activities to meet customer needs by having in depth product knowledge
• Perform product shipment inspections to identify and rectify any defects
• Proof and approve product packaging and/or master cartons
• Support inventory SKU set up for new products
• Assist in new product developments and enhancements
• Develop product specifications and provide support in marketing documents
• Propose new ideas to improve sales and profitability
• Implement process improvements to achieve product quality and productivity
• Schedule team meetings to discuss about product issues and ideas
• Coordinate and organize set up of warehouse sale, and assist in organizing trade shows, special events and other promotional events.

To be a best fit for this role, you need:
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in brand management administration within a business-to-business environment, preferably giftware or home products industry
• Knowledge of business-to-business sales, supply chain and order fulfillment
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as ability to speak effectively with customers, sales reps and employees of the organization is essential to the success of the role
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in standardized situations
• Excellent organizational skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Eye for detail to understand product design visual intent and to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Strong technical skills (including Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel – a must))
